The Executive Secretary of the National Commission For Persons with Disabilities, Chief Ayuba Burki Gufwan, and his management team visited Sun-Tech Prosthetics and Orthotics LTD yesterday in Abuja; the commission’s visit aimed to familiarise and appreciate the impactful, incredible work we do as a prosthetist and orthotist and our commitment to providing accessible and affordable solutions.
During the visit, commission members toured our facility, observing the intricate process of designing, manufacturing, and fitting prosthetic limbs and orthotic devices. They interacted with our skilled technicians who showcased their expertise in creating customized solutions tailored to individual needs. The Executive Secretary had an opportunity to also interact with patients during his visit, which was very insightful and beautiful.

Prince Sunny Ukachukwu, the CEO of Sun-Tech Prosthetics team expressed his gratitude for the commission’s visit and highlighted our ongoing efforts to advance the field of prosthetics and orthotics. He also emphasized the importance of collaboration with healthcare professionals, policymakers, and the disability community to ensure that individuals with disabilities have access to the latest technologies and support services.
He further, stated that he was honoured to host the Commission and that the goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live their lives to the fullest.
